Position: Principal Consultant
Dennis has over 10 years experience in Human Capital development as well as over 15 years experience delivering projects and programmes for a variety of clients in the public and private sector. This mix of experience brings a sharp business focus to all of his work.
Dennis is a passionate believer in the targeted investment in human capital in order to provide measurable business improvement. He researched this theory as part of his work in achieving Chartered membership of the CIPD. He produced a report entitled "Demonstrating the Value of a Corporate University to a Commercial Organisation". This report investigated the changes required by corporate training departments in order to meet the changing needs of their parent organisations in the 21st century and also evaluated a range of methods to demonstrate the business impact the departments had on the business performance. He then used the research to change his previous organisation from a traditional training department to a business focussed Human Capital Consultancy.
His blend of business focus, due to the experience in delivering projects and programmes, coupled with his deep knowledge of Human Capital development theory and practice bring a unique approach to assignments where innovation and creativity are tempered by pragmatism and realism to produce effective workable solutions.
Since setting up on his own with Coolthinkers, he has worked with a number of organisations in the public and private sector to provide independent advice on strategy and critical skill development.
